The West-Oak Warriors''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 37-6 loss at the hands of Walhalla. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West-Oak in their matchups with Walhalla: they've now lost eight in a row.
Landon Robinson had a dynamite game for Walhalla, rushing for 206 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. Robinson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. Witt Austin also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
West-Oak's defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Walhalla, their victory on Friday bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West-Oak will challenge Crescent at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Walhalla, they will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
