The Trabuco Hills Mustangs were the  72-66 winner over the San Juan Hills Stallions when they last played one another  back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Trabuco Hills fell to San Juan Hills  58-52.
 When it comes to explaining why Trabuco Hills lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is  Matt Mowers. Despite the final result, he  scored 24 points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colin Duckens, who  scored eight points.
 Trabuco Hills' defeat  ended a five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-6. As for San Juan Hills, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trabuco Hills will  challenge San Clemente at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. San Clemente will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for San Juan Hills, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Tesoro at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Tesoro will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 361st, while San Juan Hills is ranked 133rd).
