Union Christian Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Cross Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Union Christian Academy have to be hurting after a devastating 14-44 loss at the hands of Cornerstone two weeks ago. Union Christian Academy got a solid performance out of junior Kyle Curtis, who picked up 42 yards on the ground and snatched 1 receiving TD; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, Cross Christian Academy took a serious blow against Claremore Christian last week, falling 8-54. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Cross Christian Academy.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
