The Udall Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Argonia Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Udall is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
Even though Bluestem scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Udall still came out on top. Udall snuck past Bluestem with a 61-56 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Udall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jenson Harness, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Argonia came up short against West Elk on Friday and fell 54-43. Argonia has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Udall's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Argonia, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Udall and Argonia were neck-and-neck when the teams last played on Saturday, but Udall came up empty-handed after a 39-38 defeat. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Argonia's Carson Vineyard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
