Indian Rocks Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Reece Barbaro, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  hits  Barbaro has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Noah Mortellite, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Indian Rocks Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .533. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive  matches.
Indian Rocks Christian has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Canterbury, they moved to 11-5 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Coming up, Indian Rocks Christian will face off against Northside Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their  11th straight  victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
