The Hatch Valley Bears fell victim to the Cobre Indians''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 40-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hatch Valley in their matchups with Cobre: they've now lost four in a row.
Omar Gonzalez threw for 60 yards while completing 100% of his passes. Demarcus Alaniz was his top target, picking up 102 receiving yards. On the ground, Jacob Gomez threw for 48 yards on two of eight attempts.
Hatch Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cobre, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Hatch Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cobre also has no future games currently scheduled.
