The Greene Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Bainbridge-Guilford by a score of 41-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greene also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayslin Henderson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Johnna Henderson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Greene's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greene will challenge Bainbridge-Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bainbridge-Guilford's road trip will continue as they head out to face Walton at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
