Hernando is 10-0 against Central since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Hernando Leopards will get right back to it and host the Central Bears at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Thursday, Hernando came up short against Mitchell and fell 49-41. Hernando has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Hernando had strong showings from Ayana Kincade, who scored 17 points, and Aislin Ruppe, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Central, who are still winless after their 14th contest. They were outmatched by Springstead on the road and fell 55-4. Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-4.
Hernando's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Central, their defeat was their 17th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-14.
