After a dominant victory in their matchup last Friday, Cohasset were humbled on Friday. They fell to Abington 14-26. If Cohasset were hoping to take revenge for the 14-21 loss against Abington the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Cohasset's record to 5-2. The win was the 3rd in a row for Abington raised their record to 6-1.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Cohasset will stay at home in five weeks against Hull at 10:00 AM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game. Abington will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Whitman-Hanson Regional at 10:00 AM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
