The McBee Panthers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Central as McBee made off with a 61-39 victory. That 61-39 margin sets a new team best for McBee this season.
McBee found their leader in underclassman Jakari Holloman, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Tyrek Wright, who scored nine points.
The victory got McBee back to even at 4-4. As for Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
McBee won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Central at 8:00 p.m. on December 20th. North Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Central and Forest Hills will round out the year against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. One thing working in Forest Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
