That's the first time this season that Yalovsky scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Sam Rael, who scored 17 points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Yavneh Academy, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-5.
Thursday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Cornerstone Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 30 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Yavneh Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 24.5 rebounds per game. Given Cornerstone Christian Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Yavneh Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
