Softball Recap: Audubon Extends Winning Streak to Five

Audubon barely beat Haddon Township the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Green Wave's pitchers stepped up to hand the Hawks a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Green Wave have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Audubon, bringing their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Haddon Township, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Audubon will venture away from home to take on Bordentown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haddon Township, they will head out to challenge Gloucester City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
