WPIAL AAAA Southeastern recap November 5, 2013
Upper St. Clair extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL AAAA Southeastern this week by beating Kiski Area, 44-13. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Panthers.
Baldwin fell to Central Catholic 56-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Plum's dynamic duo of Wil Fuhrer and Patrick Crossey proved to be unstoppable against Greensburg Salem, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Fuhrer threw for 76 yards and Crossey had 65 yards receiving.
Trevor Morrow was a passing and rushing force as Upper St. Clair topped the Cavaliers.
6-foot-3 quarterback Joe Repischak of Jim Render's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 986. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Troy Apke. The Mt. Lebanon star has 40 catches for 728 yards.
The Panthers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Kiski Area. Morrow ran for 157 yards and caught 1 pass for 17 yards during the win.
