Columbus North is 2-8 against the Panthers since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Columbus North can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against East Central by a score of 56-44.
Columbus North's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Caleb Ferguson, who scored 15 points, and Nathan Enneking, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Enneking scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Pickup, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Bloomington South humbled the Bluejackets with a 72-38 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Bloomington South has managed all season.
Columbus North's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Bloomington South, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Columbus North was able to grind out a solid victory over the Panthers when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 51-38. Does Columbus North have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
