The Evansville Christian Eagles will take on the Henderson County Colonels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Evansville Christian beat Mt. Carmel 60-49. Given Evansville Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 21st in Indiana, while Mt. Carmel is ranked 382nd in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Josiah Dunham, who scored 28 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Davis, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
In what's become a running theme this season, Henderson County gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 71-44 win over Union County.
Evansville Christian's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Henderson County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
