Sacred Heart waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Southeast of Saline Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 62-48. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Southeast of Saline lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Owen Bailey, who posted 11 points. Benjamin Heinrich also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Sacred Heart's record is now 6-1-1. As for Southeast of Saline, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Sacred Heart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-34 win against Republic County on the 14th. As for Southeast of Saline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-59 victory against Lyons on the 14th.
