Alisal will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Everett Alvarez at 5:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Alisal had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-38 punch to the gut against Live Oak last Friday.
Everett Alvarez also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They suffered a grim 7-34 defeat to Burlingame last week. Everett Alvarez were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
