University Lab had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Cubs have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was University Lab's fifth in a row) raised their record to 26-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-13.

Coming up, University Lab will take on Pope John Paul II on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Cubs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Calvary Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
