The Academy at the Lakes Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Academy at the Lakes had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Lakeside Christian, posting a 37-10 victory at home.
Meanwhile, Seven Rivers Christian took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-2 victory over Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. The victory was just what Seven Rivers Christian needed coming off of a 72-52 defeat in their prior game.
The win got Academy at the Lakes back to even at 4-4. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Academy at the Lakes might still be hurting after the 50-28 loss they got from Seven Rivers Christian in their previous matchup last Friday. Can Academy at the Lakes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
