Northview has gone a perfect 4-0 against Start recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Northview 3.4, Start 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Northview took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They blew past Perkins 8-2.
Northview got a great performance from Nick Schantz as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Schantz has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Conner Draper was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Quinton Wilson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Northview hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Start entered their tilt with Bowsher last Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the BlueRacers a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since April 24th.
Not much got past Braden Bowman, who gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Bowsher off the board.
At the plate, Start saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Creecy, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Northview's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Start, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
Everything went Northview's way against Start in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, as Northview made off with a 17-4 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
