Despite the loss, Pen Argyl saw an underclassman step up: Mason Soos scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chase Kennedy, who scored 13 points.
Pen Argyl struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are 1-5 when they can't control their own glass like that.
Pen Argyl dropped their record down to 4-17 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
