The Kearns Cougars suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 83-57 defeat at the hands of West Jordan. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Kearns lost, one person who can't be blamed is Darin Detvongsa. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Kayden Stark was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Carter Dorenbosch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Jordan, scoring 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Szymanski, who scored 13 points.
