Mentor High School quarterback Ian Kipp highlights
Watch the 2019 Ohio Mr. Finalist in action during his junior campaign.
Over the last 23 years head coach Steve Trivisonno molded
Mentor into one of Ohio’s top football programs. The Cardinals went 209-70 and earned 19 postseason appearances under Trivisonno, who retired following last season - a 13-1 campaign that ended in the state semifinals. Matt Gray was promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach.
Over the last 10 years, Mentor is a four-time state semifinalist with 105-25 record, two state finals appearances (2013 and 2017) and a Mr. Football winner. Below we take a look at our Top 10 Players over that span.
