The biggest upset of the week belonged to Huntingdon, who defeated 558th ranked Bellefonte, 47-0. Mitchell Lauer ran for 113 yards in the win.
Bald Eagle Area moved up to 374 from 417 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain. The Bald Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Philipsburg-Osceola 40-13.
Bryce Bitner put up the best numbers through the air as Central Mountain fell to State College. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bitner's favorite target this week was Tyler Pavalko, who caught 3 passes for 69 yards.
Christian Lezzer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Clearfield defeated Penns Valley Area. He completed 3 passes for 54 yards and also ran for 161 yards. Lezzer's favorite target this week was Tyler Stratton, who caught 3 passes for 54 yards.
Lezzer was the most successful running back in the league this week. Stratton also contributed to the rushing game with 148 yards on the ground.
Bradi Moore was the best receiver in the league this week as Central bested Tyrone. Moore tallied 4 receptions for 75 yards.
The Dragons' Austin Cunningham and Moore have formed a dream team this season, leading Mountain in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Cunningham has thrown for 196 yards this season, while Moore has 10 catches for 162 yards. The Bison's Lezzer leads the league in rushing yards with 308.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Clearfield takes on second place Central. Last week, Clearfield defeated the Rams, while Central beat the Golden Eagles.
The Bison were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. Clearfield defeated Penns Valley Area 37-15 earlier in the week.
