Great Falls and Billings Senior are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Bison will square off against the Broncs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Great Falls took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Belgrade 27-6. The win continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Great Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Steele Harris, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and one score. The Bison also got a significant boost from Mason Cannon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 170 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Great Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 380 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Billings Senior got the win against Skyview on Friday by a conclusive 28-7.
Billings Senior's win came from a few key players Great Falls will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Severen Cellan, who threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Rylan Jennings was Cellan's top target, picking up 55 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 54 yards and one TD.
Billings Senior didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Deagan Lehfeldt and Wright Edwards.
Great Falls' record now sits at 2-4. As for Billings Senior, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
Thursday's contest will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: Harris and Jennings. Harris just won't slow down this season and has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 80 receiving yards per game. Jennings has been a dominant force too and has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 56.3 receiving yards per game.
Everything went Great Falls' way against Billings Senior in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Great Falls made off with a 42-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
