Kyle Henry had a dynamite game, rushing for 136 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picking up 44 receiving yards. Those 136 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Dutch Fork also got help from Stone Furrey, who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dutch Fork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 188 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Irmo's strategy against Chapin on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Yellow Jackets blew the Eagles out of the water with a 48-6 final score. The Yellow Jackets are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth matchup they've won by 20+ points this season.
Irmo's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Jaiden Bryant was the leader with two sacks.
Dutch Fork's record is now 7-1. As for Irmo, their record now sits at 9-0.
Dutch Fork was able to grind out a solid win over Irmo in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 24-14. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Yellow Jackets' Aaron (Aj) Brand Jr., who rushed for 125 yards and one score on only 15 carries, and also threw for 176 yards and one touchdown on only 15 passes. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Silver Foxes to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
