After a string of four wins, the Silver Lake Mustangs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 58-37 loss at the hands of Exeter-Milligan/Friend.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Duester, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Karr, who scored ten points.
Silver Lake's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Silver Lake and Pleasanton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tri County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
