Southeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The matchup between them and the Grimsley Whirlies didn't end well, with the Southeast Guilford Falcons falling 64-45. Southeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Grimsley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
It'll be Northside v. Southside when Southeast Guilford and Northern Guilford meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northern Guilford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Southeast Guilford likes a good challenge. As for Grimsley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-56 loss against Rocky River on the 25th.
