In what's become a running theme this season, the El Dorado Cougars gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 61-33 victory over Galt. 61 seems to be a good number for El Dorado as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jeremy Kimber was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 18 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Baker, who scored 20 points.
The victory got El Dorado back to even at 10-10. As for Galt, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will stay at home for another game and welcome Union Mine at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Union Mine has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,485 points over their last 20 contests. As for Galt, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m.
