There's no place like home for Ferguson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southwest Eagles a 15-0 shutout on Thursday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 11 runs or more this season.

Andreaneliz Rivera was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Briana Canahuate, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ferguson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in five consecutive contests.

Ferguson now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Southwest, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Ferguson has already played their next matchup, a 19-13 victory against South Dade on the 23rd. As for Southwest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-9 loss against Hialeah-Miami Lakes on the 21st.
