After soaring to 31 points the game before, The South Garner Titans were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They suffered a rough 29-9 loss at the hands of Southeast Raleigh. South Garner was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southeast Raleigh apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southeast Raleigh, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Garner will face off against Pinecrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pinecrest is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will head out on the road to face off against Apex Friendship at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Apex Friendship is ranked 84th, while Southeast Raleigh is ranked 103rd).
