Mission Vista's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. Their rough 80-54 loss to Rancho Buena Vista might stick with them for a while. Mission Vista was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.
Rancho Buena Vista found their leader in underclassman Cj Aldrich, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Aldrich has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Trent Lotito was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight assists and three steals.
Mission Vista has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Rancho Buena Vista, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oceanside the next time they take the court. Rancho Buena Vista will host Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mission Vista will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
