Savannah Country Day had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They never let the Islands Sharks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Savannah Country Day might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Islands from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Reese Bailey led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

Savannah Country Day pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Islands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Savannah Country Day will host Richmond Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Islands, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 11th. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
