With a playoff win on the line, Kenwood rose to the challenge on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Oak Lawn Spartans 63-31. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from London Walker George, who posted 11 points and five steals. Walker George is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 57% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Diann Jackson, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 14 points and eight rebounds.

Kenwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive matches.

Kenwood pushed their record up to 30-3 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.1 points. As for Oak Lawn, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-11.

Coming up, Kenwood will face off against Nazareth Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nazareth Academy will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something Kenwood surely won't give up without a fight. Oak Lawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
