After a string of three wins, the Bristol Bay Angels's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Tri-Valley by a score of 40-37. If Bristol Bay hoped to take revenge for the 56-47 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
When it comes to explaining why Bristol Bay lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chad Anderson. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Julian Trefon was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Bristol Bay's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-1. As for Tri-Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
