Shiloh Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Farmington, who was ranked ninth at the time (Shiloh Christian was ranked 23rd). The Saints came up short against the Cardinals on Thursday, falling 3-0.
Shiloh Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Farmington work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Shiloh Christian had strong showings from Bristol Bonanno, who had 17 digs and one assist, and Kennedy Brown, who had 15 assists. Bonanno has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.
Meanwhile, Benton didn't have quite enough to beat Conway on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wampus Cats 25-21 in the first set.
Benton wouldn't go down easily and took Conway into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-13, 25-14, 16-25, 15-13.
Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Shiloh Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 19-14-1.
