Hancock Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warren County Screaming Devils. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hancock Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sonovia Reynolds, who posted 13 points. Harmoni Watkins was another key player, putting up 11 points.

It was another big night for Courtney Bray, who put up 22 points for Warren County. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who had eight points and four steals.

Hancock Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warren County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Hancock Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-34 victory against Jefferson County on the 20th. As for Warren County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 54-51 win against Greene County on the 17th.
