Monday just wasn't the day for Lake Country Christian's offense. They fell victim to a  tough 15-0 defeat at the hands of the Pantego Christian Panthers  on Monday. Lake Country Christian has struggled against Pantego Christian recently, as their  contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Lake Country Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kaci Eynon, who  went 1-for-1 with a  double.
 On Pantego Christian's side,  Kennedy Kemp made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over four innings pitched. Kemp has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Kemp was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ava Castillo was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.  Cecilia Saldivar was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Lake Country Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pantego Christian, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Country Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nazarene Christian Academy on April 23rd. As for Pantego Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
