Blue Ridge is 6-0 against North Cross since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Blue Ridge Barons will look to defend their home court against the North Cross Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Blue Ridge will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
If Blue Ridge beats North Cross with 65 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Everything went Blue Ridge's way against Miller School of Albemarle on Thursday as Blue Ridge made off with a 65-41 win. The Barons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Colby White went supernova for Blue Ridge, going 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. What's more, White also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Cross). They really took it to Carlisle for the full four quarters, racking up a 93-51 victory. The Raiders is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Thursday was the six match they've won by 20+ points or more this season.
North Cross' win came from a few key players Blue Ridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Antonio Mack, who went 15 of 22 on his way to 33 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Lange, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds.
Blue Ridge pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points per game. As for North Cross, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Blue Ridge has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 36.8 boards per game. However, it's not like North Cross struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Blue Ridge against North Cross in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 94-40 win. Does Blue Ridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Cross turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
