The Curlew Cougars won the last time they faced the Oroville Hornets, and things went their way on Saturday too. Curlew breezed by Oroville on the road to the tune of 51-23. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Curlew.
Curlew was led to victory by Annika Baker and Emma Lena Baker. Baker scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals, while Baker scored 22 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Baker has scored at least 25% of Curlew's points. Melissa Bineau was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Curlew now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oroville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
