On Saturday, the Tanalian Lynx's game was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over Holy Rosary Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Tanalian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tanalian was led to victory by Malachi Fowler and Erik McGee. Fowler scored 18 points, while McGee scored 14 points. That's the first time this season that Fowler scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ray Chmiel, who scored ten points.
Tanalian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Holy Rosary Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Tanalian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Tri-Valley on January 15th. As for Holy Rosary Academy, they will take on Tanalian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
