Meanwhile, Nashoba Valley Tech faced Innovation Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Nashoba Valley Tech was dealt a 81-47 loss at the hands of Innovation Academy on Friday. Nashoba Valley Tech has struggled against Innovation Academy recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Murdock's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
