The First Baptist Saints entered their tilt with the Trinity School of Texas Titans with 20 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 21. First Baptist blew past Trinity School of Texas 74-11 at home on Friday. First Baptist has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 23 points or more this season.
First Baptist got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Kate Jones out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of First Baptist's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith Quinn, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
First Baptist pushed their record up to 26-3 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Trinity School of Texas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
First Baptist will be playing in front of their home fans against Dallas Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity School of Texas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
