Ledyard took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Killingly. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Ledyard was outscored by Killingly in the second.
Leading Killingly to victory were Soren Rief and Hayden Allard. Rief rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown, while Allard rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Rief is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played.
Ledyard's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Killingly, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Ledyard will look to defend their home field on Friday against Stonington at 6:00 p.m. As for Killingly, they will head out on the road to face off against New London at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
