Penn-Trafford scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 100-85 fall against the Uniontown Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 22nd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Uniontown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Calvin Winfrey, who went 11 for 17 en route to 29 points along with eight boards and five assists. Winfrey's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Ellsworth, who went 8 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points.

Penn-Trafford now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Uniontown, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penn-Trafford has already played their next match (against Greater Latrobe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Uniontown has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against McKeesport.
