The Jefferson Grizzlies will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the South San Francisco Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Neither Jefferson nor South San Francisco posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Jefferson's last match on Friday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and Capuchino finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. Sadly, the result was nothing new as Jefferson, who hasn't won a game since January 17th.
South San Francisco, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 17th and they too continued that trend. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Woodside. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time South San Francisco has been dealt a draw since back in December of 2023.
Their goal came courtesy of
Angel Ramirez, who's now up to 15 this season.
Jefferson's draw makes their record 3-9-3 on the season. As for South San Francisco, they moved theirs to 12-4-2.
Jefferson might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from South San Francisco in their previous matchup back in January. Will Jefferson have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
