Rolla HomeSchool and the Warriors are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. Rolla HomeSchool will be playing at home against the Maranatha Baptist Academy Warriors on Tuesday. Rolla HomeSchool will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Back in January, Rolla HomeSchool greeted the New Year with with a 55-41 win over the Eagles. Given Rolla HomeSchool's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Eagles are ranked 510th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Maranatha Baptist Academy was beaten by the Rangers 88-30 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Maranatha Baptist Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Maranatha Baptist Academy saw an underclassman step up: Clarence Brown scored 16 points.
Rolla HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Maranatha Baptist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Rolla HomeSchool strolled past the Warriors in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 75-58. Will Rolla HomeSchool repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
