The Bennett Tigers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Byers Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th. Byers took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bennett, who comes in off a win.
Bennett has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 50-28 margin over Bishop Machebeuf.
Bennett relied on the efforts of Lily Venneberg, who scored 17 points, and Jessica Venneberg, who scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Venneberg has scored at least 25% of Bennett's points. Raquel Thorpe was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Meanwhile, Byers came up short against Cedaredge on Saturday and fell 52-39. Byers has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bennett pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.67 points. As for Byers, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
