The Clark Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Eldorado Firehawks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Clark came out on top against Valley on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run third inning. The Chargers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 20-5 win. Considering the Chargers have won six matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Brody Ricci made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Yordan Vidal Cuenca looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, EJ Rivera was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Lukas Armstrong also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Clark kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, while Eldorado put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Sunrise Mountain. The Firehawks were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Miners.
Clark's record now sits at 11-3. As for Eldorado, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Clark was able to grind out a solid win over Eldorado in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
