Jennings County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs. That looming 58-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Franklin Community's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addi Bright, who posted nine points, and Ella Mccrary, who earned eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Doty, who put up five points.

Jennings County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Franklin Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Jennings County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-45 loss against Carmel on the 28th. As for Franklin Community, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mooresville at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
